Sparkbloom: Privacy Policy

Effective date: 1 November 2026

This policy explains how the game Sparkbloom ("the app"), published by SUMAR_TECH ("we"), handles information. It covers the app on Android phones and tablets, Chromebooks, Google Play Games on PC and Android TV, and the Sparkbloom message player on the web at sumar7.github.io/sparkbloom.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. You don't need an account to play, and we don't ask for your name, email or phone number. Your game progress (levels reached, stars, your Sky Album, Daily Sky results and streak, and your settings) is stored only on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app. We run no servers of our own that receive it.

Messages and videos you make

Sky Letters messages are not private. A message, and any name you add to it, is written into the link itself. It is not encrypted, so anyone who has the link can read it and pass it on. Please don't put secrets, passwords or personal details in a message.

We have no message server. We don't store messages, can't see them, and can't track, check or delete one. A link you have sent can't be taken back: it stays in chats and in browser history. Names are not checked, so a name in a message doesn't prove who wrote it.

A word filter on your device blocks common offensive words when a message is written and opened. It can't catch everything, and nobody reviews messages. If someone sends you something unwelcome, use the block and report tools of the app it arrived in.

The web page that plays these links is hosted by GitHub Pages, which may keep ordinary web server logs such as IP addresses. The message stays out of those requests, because it is in the part of the link browsers don't send.

Videos you record stay on your device unless you choose to share them. When you share a link or a video, it goes through whichever app you pick, under that app's own terms.

Advertising

On phones, tablets, Chromebooks and PC the app shows ads through Google AdMob: an occasional ad between levels, and optional ads you can choose to watch for another chance at a level. The Android TV version and the web player show no ads, and nor does the app once you own the Sky Pass. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process information such as your device's advertising ID, approximate location from your IP address, and how you interact with ads. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the app under Pause → Privacy → Ad choices. On Android you can also reset or delete your advertising ID under Settings → Google → Ads.

Purchases

The optional one-time purchase, the Sky Pass, is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details. The app only learns whether your Google account owns it, so it can unlock it on your devices.

Other games

More Games lists other games from SUMAR_TECH. Tapping one opens its page in the Google Play Store app; nothing is sent to us.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Security

Ad and purchase traffic from the app travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Sky Letters links are not encrypted; see Messages and videos you make.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date.
