Spell Crane: Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the game Spell Crane ("the app"), published by SUMAR_TECH ("we"), handles information. It covers the app on Android phones and tablets, Chromebooks, Google Play Games on PC and Android TV.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. You don't need an account to play, and we don't ask for your name, email or phone number. Your game progress (stars, hints, the words you have found, Daily Drop results, settings and looks) is stored only on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app. The words you spell are checked against a dictionary inside the app and are never sent anywhere. The app does not send your progress or gameplay to us.

Advertising

On phones, tablets, Chromebooks and PC the app shows ads through Google AdMob: an occasional ad between levels, and optional ads you can choose to watch for a hint. The Android TV version shows no ads, and nor does the app once you own the Crane Pass. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address (used to estimate approximate location), device model, operating system, and interactions with ads. Google's use of this information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the app under Menu → Privacy options. On Android you can also reset or delete your advertising ID under Settings → Google → Ads.

Purchases

Optional one-time purchases are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details. The app only learns which items your Google account owns, so it can unlock them on your devices.

Sharing

If you tap Share after a Daily Drop, the app opens your device's share sheet with a short text you can read before sending. Nothing is shared unless you choose to send it.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Security

Ad and purchase traffic from the app travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date.
